My buddy is a Yankee fan (I know...I rip on him all the time) and he said we have "Stud Lineup Disease." When the lineup has studs from top to bottom, it takes the pressure of each hitter, subconsciously. Each hitter goes up to bat and in the back of their mind they always feel that if they don't come through, the next guy will pick me up.
I'm not sure what it is, but it stinks and it is not fun to watch. |
