| Anyone here like video games? I'm a bit of a collector.
According to my collection listed on IGN (which is up-to-date) I have 205 games:
43 Atari 2600 (actually higher - there's some duplicates) 34 PC (not sure if these should count) 28 Playstation (all complete but one) 18 Nintendo 18 Playstation 2 14 Super Nintendo 10 Sega Genesis (all complete!) 8 Game Boy Color 7 XBOX (all complete) 7 XBOX 360 (all complete) 5 Game Boy 4 Nintendo 64 (don't have a system though) 4 PSP 3 Playstation 3 1 Game Boy Advanced
I obviously need some more N64 games. We used to have a ton but for some reason my mom threw them away along with the system. She missed a couple that's why I still have 4. I should have one more SNES game but my mom threw away Donkey Kong Country 3 with the N64 stuff.
I would like to get an N64 soon and want a Sega CD (front-loading kind) & Sega 32X. I should get more new games but it's hard because new games aren't all that great compared to the old ones.
In case anyone cares, while rating the games I've given out 2 10.0's: >Super Mario Brothers (NES) >Galaxian (Atari 2600)
IGN has awarded 6 10.0's to my collection (and they don't have any rating for any of the classic games). _________________ Coming soon: A better signature! |

| Bought a couple games today:
>CTR Crash Team Racing (PS) >Centipede (Atari 2600) >Real Sports Soccer (Atari 2600)
I don't know much about those last 2 but the seller had pretty significant shipping discounts on multiple purchases and those Atari games were super cheap (and for good reason - atariage doesn't think they're very rare) so I thought why not. _________________ Coming soon: A better signature! |

| We have an xbox and an xbox 360 but I don't play much. The husband plays A LOT though Call of Duty 4 seems to pretty much rule our household. |

| All this chess on here has me into chess. I went ahead and bought a chess videogame
I bought a few videogames today:
- Video Chess
- Video Checkers
- RealSports Volleyball
- Tennis
- Bowling
- Night Driver
- Jr. Pac Man (I now have all 3 - Jr., regular, and Ms. Pac Man)
- Donkey Kong (COMPLETE in box WITH instructions)
Those games are all for the Atari 2600. Prices ranged from $0.99 cents all the way up to a bank-breaking $4 (for Donkey Kong)! 8 videogames for around $20 after shipping. Not too bad (although I did pay more than they're worth that's okay by me. I'll play them!) _________________ Coming soon: A better signature! |

This surprises me, well not really, but I thought I would be sort of nice. I'm not the least bit surprised, but maybe if I would have stayed up a little longer, you wouldn't have resorted to this. Oh well. |

Why? So I can buy MORE videogames? It's not like I'm going to spend hours every day playing these. Just a little time here and there. They're so cheap I'd be crazy not to buy them. _________________ Coming soon: A better signature! |

| Still no video game fans?
I bought my second to last purchase for a while (I'm watching one game on eBay that runs out in 2 days):
- A Nintendo 64 system with control and expansion pack built in - this will come in handy because I already have some games but can't play them because my mom threw out the system. This also came with Mission Impossible and NFL Quarterback Club (I think 1998 but I'm not 100% - it didn't specify in the listing and the picture is hard to see). Those games both suck but the system was still fairly cheap.
- Donkey Kong 64 for the N64 complete in box - everything but the expansion pack (that's okay since the system I bought had one).
- Sega Dreamcast system with Coaster Works, Evolution 2, and Sonic Adventure. Those first two games got mediocre to poor reviews but Sonic Adventure is supposed to be good. I've never even played a Dreamcast so I'm excited about this. The games are super cheap, too but I didn't buy any more because I'm back in school and won't be playing them much anyways.
All this came from one seller so I saved on S&H _________________ Coming soon: A better signature! |

| Seems like I'm the only poster here...
Anyways, I made that purchase last night that I hinted at last night. I bought two Nintendo games:
- Bible Adventures

- Super Mario Brothers / Duck Hunt
My reasoning: Super Mario Bros. is the greatest game ever. Period. I have a copy of it, but not that copy. My copy has both of those games and a track and field game. I want to get Super Mario Bros. on its own but the seller didn't have it so I'll wait until I buy multiple games.
As for the Bible game, it's supposed to be terrible and I'm not religious at all. BUT, it's UNLICENSED and I don't own an unlicensed game - for any system. I mean look at it:

I mean NES games don't look like that! Compare it to a normal one:

What sealed the deal was in an auction format that same game from a seller with mediocre feedback sold for $23.xx last night (I forget the cents part) as 3 people got into a bidding war over it. The person I bought it from (who has much better feedback) sold it for $11.99 and had 2 copies available. eBay makes me laugh sometimes. Why pay $23+ for something in auction when you can get it for MUCH less in an eBay store? _________________ Coming soon: A better signature!

Wait, you have that game? What's your opinion of it?

| Oh, I thought you were saying I (you) have the game. Instead you're saying something like, now you can say "I have Bible Adventures!" and try and show off, but what's the point?
Regardless, I have Bible Adventures (as soon as it gets here). _________________ Coming soon: A better signature! |

Enjoy it? That'll be tough - I mean it's a TERRIBLE game. It's a cool looking cartridge and the game is so dumb I couldn't resist. _________________ Coming soon: A better signature! |

| I made a purchase. Before anyone yells at me for being a liar (I said I was done for a while) let me explain....
I bought Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped for the Playstation 1 a while ago. The seller emailed me today (almost a month after I bought it ) and said they made an error and no longer have the game. They refunded my money. I re-bought the game from someone else and it was a buck cheaper! All right! _________________ Coming soon: A better signature! |

| Update of what I said in the first post (because I know everyone cares):
- 54 Atari 2600
- 34 PC
- 29 Playstation
- 20 Nintendo
- 18 Playstation 2
- 14 Super Nintendo
- 10 Sega Genesis
- 8 Game Boy Color
- 7 Nintendo 64
- 7 XBOX
- 7 XBOX 360
- 5 Game Boy
- 4 Playstation Portable
- 3 Playstation 3
- 2 Sega Dreamcast
- 1 Game Boy Advance
- 1 GameCube
TOTAL: 225 Games
It's also worth noting that I have a Nintendo 64 now so I can play those games. I also have a Dreamcast. You can see what games I have by clicking here.
Hmm....I only have 1 Game Boy Advance game. I should buy some more. Seems like a waste of money to buy a system that I only have 1 game for. Sure it plays Game Boy and Game Boy color games but I have a Game Boy Color (but not a regular Game Boy....Game Boy Color plays those games). If I remember correctly I got my Game Boy Advance on Black Friday one year for really cheap, but still! _________________ Coming soon: A better signature!

| I'm not that obsessed. The only difference between me and many videogame players is I NEVER sell or get rid of my games. I have NEVER intentionally gotten rid of a game once I owned it. My mom has thrown a few out and I've had a few stolen from these thugs my sister USED to hang out with back when she was all (expletive)-ed up (before she met Joe who somehow has been a good influence on her despite being a complete LAW-ABIDING moron). I got my first game in probably 1991ish - I still have it (Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt/Track Meet [3-in-1 game] that came with my Nintendo) AND the Nintendo. They work perfectly. The vast majority of my non-Atari games were purchased brand-new not for collectible purposes but because they were the games I wanted because they were new and my type of game. Only recently (the last 2 years or so) have I begun purchasing games that are way past their prime.
I am missing maybe 3 PS2 games that were stolen, a few Gamecube games that were stolen (although in fairness those were technically my sister's games), a Game Boy color game that was stolen (as were all of my sister's GBC games....she was borrowing the stolen game).
I'm missing 1 SNES game (Donkey Kong Country 3) and probably 8 N64 games because my mom threw all those out (she thought Donkey Kong Country 3 was an N64 game) when the dog ate ONE of the controls. Nothing else had any problems
Oh, I edited that list you quoted - I forgot to mention the 1 Game Cube game I have. I "stole" it from my sister. The GameCube system has been sitting in the garage for a few years now so I doubt she wants it. I went through her room and found 1 game and stole it before she threw it out. I haven't told her but I know she doesn't want it. I'll take it because there's a few GameCube games that are cool and a free system (even though it's purple) is better than buying one (even though a purchased one would be a less feminine color). _________________ Coming soon: A better signature! |

| But like I said. I'm like the average videogame player. I just refuse to get rid of my games which gives me a giant collection. Joe plays a lot of video games and buys them way more often than me (new games at least). He owns maybe 5 games whereas I own 225. _________________ Coming soon: A better signature! |

| Ok, so I have the Wii and me and my brother play it all the time. My brother plays resident evil 4 and some other shooting game, and I bowl and play one of the shooting games.
Well, that was before we went to the mall today. Michael (my brother) decided that we needed to get Guitar Hero. So we bought it and came home and started playing. He had played it before so he is really good, but I have never played it, so i'm really really bad. He left and went to his girlfriend's house a little while ago so i was playing it and i got a little bit better, but i'm still bad.
but anyway, the wii is awesome and it's a lot of fun and although I hate to say it since I laughed when michael said we needed to get it, Guitar Hero is awesome too. |
