First Timer

Subject: First Timer Mon Jan 14, 2008 12:47 pm

I have lived in Vegas for 18 years. My first baseball game was watching "The Bird" pitch at Tiger Stadium. I have been a die hard ever since. Almost got divorced when I flew back for both ALDS and ALCS and then went to St. Louis for WS. I can't wait for 08'. Found this site from the board at that other site but I have never posted before. Thought it might be fun.

Yea, I am buying league pass to get all the games and I just bought a new TV and got DVR so I can record and watch every game. It will be hard not to look at the score if I have to record it but I will watch it anyway. I let my wife know when got married that I was going to watch every playoff game the tigers got into, she was safe for the first 13 years we were married. Not anymore, can't wait for '08.

Thanks...I have to say seeing New York Yankees after my name really hurts me. I hate the Yankees almost as much as I love the tigers. How many damn posts do I need to get that off?

My problem is it is hard to seperate betting with your heart and your head... I just heard from one of my buddies that the Tigers are 8-1 to win it all at the Hilton and if that is true then I am all over it.
