This is only the beginning of a very long DL stay for McBride, who blew out his elbow and is headed for Tommy John surgery.
What does Raburn have to do to secure a job with the Tigers? He hit
.304/.340/.507 as a part-timer last year, but unfortunately for him, he
can’t pitch. The Tigers’ revolving-door bullpen saw the additions of
Rapada and Beltran last week, and the dismissals of Yorman Bazardo and
Raburn.
