| 2007. Thriller. Sandra Bullock.
I don't want to give too much away, but it's about a woman who wakes up one morning finding out that her husband has been killed but then wakes up the next morning finding that he's still alive. Events start happening the next few days that can't be explained and she sees people that she supposedly has met but has no recollection. It will keep you guessing the whole time of what will finally happen at the end. There are major plot holes and unanswered questions, but overall a decent movie.
I'll give it a 90.5/100 (A-) based on no actual formula. _________________

| I'm changing my score on this to a 77/100. This one is based on an actual formula! Although I will not reveal it. _________________

This movie will drop from 12th to t-33rd thanks to that score change. _________________ Coming soon: A better signature! |

When I made that score I wasn't sure how you were grading these things. Now that I've seen a few of your scores and how low you went with that one (29/100?), this deserved to be lowered. _________________

While I'm not the authority on grading, I try to grade on a curve with the mean set at a C and then one standard deviation away being a B/D and 2 away being an F/A.
That doesn't quite work out because if the curve is set at say 75% then one standard deviation away would be 85% which is a B, not B-, but whatever. Basically, if all movies...every movie ever made were reviewed by me, 68% get a C, 13.5% get a B, 13.5% get a D, 2.5% get an A, and 2.5% get an F. My reviews on here are going to be skewed in favor of higher scores but that's only because I'm not reviewing every movie ever made - so far I've selected films that are, for the most part, considered all-time greats or at least very good. _________________ Coming soon: A better signature! |
