I'm bored. Might as well watch this. It's 3.5 hours long... Stunned

This is 6 minutes longer than Titanic so this will be the longest movie I've ever seen.

That takes care of that movie.

Wow, these are very intricate movies. You really need to pay very close attention in order to follow what was going on. I attempted to devote my full attention to this, but still feel like I missed out on quite a lot. This has to be watched several times in order to really make sense.

This is the only sequel to ever win the Academy Award for best picture. One of the Lord of the Rings movies (the third one) also won the award, but being the 3rd makes it not a sequel. Since The Godfather also won best picture, this series is the only series to ever have two films win such an award.

While the plots are not the same and there are plenty of new characters in the first two parts of this series, the films are quite similar and have similar themes. Pretty much everything said in a review for one could be said in another. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, I just thought I'd point that out.

Since I don't feel like I fully understood this, I probably shouldn't attempt to write anything more until I rewatch this.

81/100
