Aka, Man With a Million.

I accidentally watched this today...

This movie is based on a short story by Mark Twain. It's about 2 rich men who make a bet. The bet is that they find a poor man and give him a million pound note that he'll be thought of as a rich man. He is to not cash the note but present it back to them in one months time in exchange for a job. The plot is very simple. Maybe too simple as there's only so much you can do with this one joke. This is a comedy and there are some funny scenes, but at times the jokes seemed forced and unrealistic.

This movie stars Gregory Peck as the believed rich man, Henry Adams. He does a good job in this role. The supporting cast - not so much.

65/100
