REVIEW:

First of all, my DVD player here about sucks because after 12 minutes it's unable to read the disc. Same problem on my computer confused

This isn't a bootlegged version and I've previously watched this problem free. Inspection of the disc looks like it's fine so I don't know what the problem is. I'll try again at home. I've seen this enough times to where I can still review it.

This is difficult to review. I could watch this as if I've never seen or heard of the show but that's quite difficult. I could watch it and compare it to the show, but that's not fair. I'm going to pretend I've never heard of the show while reviewing this.

The movie begins with a cartoon which is unnecessary, but mildly amusing. The first few minutes of the movie don't seem to go anywhere, but the plot eventually picks up.

The movie has quite a few jokes that are worth a good laugh and there's a lot of jokes you'll only discover while looking closely. The voice actors do a good job and the voices they give are equal to good acting by real actors.

My main complaint with the film is the plot. While the plot works out okay and is straightforward, I don't particularly like the plot itself as it's rather unrealistic. I originally said I'm going to watch the movie as if I've never seen the show, but I just can't do that. The show has plenty of plots that aren't realistic, but they're at least feasible. The plot is completely unrealistic and that's too bad. This movie is better than the newer episodes but inferior to the best episodes.

While this movie is enjoyable, I'm not sure it accomplishes much of anything. I don't think there's anything about this film that allows it to attract an audience unfamiliar with the show and it does nothing to enhance the show. As a stand-alone film there's nothing particularly memorable about this at all. The show sort of tackles a theme about the environment but doesn't really do much with that. There are no real themes of great importance that are addressed at all here. It's worth a watch but if you aren't familiar with the show or don't care for the show this won't really do much of anything for you. If you are a fan of the show it's a must-see because of the novelty aspect of it.

Overall this is about an average film.
