Where are they now? How ex-Tigers are faring

The Detroit Free Press

The Tigers have lost some key players and prospects since the start of last season. A look at where some of them wound up:

Craig Monroe, Twins
Likely to come off the bench.

Andrew Miller, Marlins
Expected to be in starting rotation.

Eulogio De La Cruz, Marlins
Has a chance to win a bullpen spot.

Jair Jurrjens, Braves
Strong candidate to be the team's fifth starter.

Mike Rabelo, Marlins
Virtual lock to make roster, likely as starting catcher.

Sean Casey, Red Sox
Signed a one-year deal to back up Kevin Youkilis.

Omar Infante, Braves
Could miss start of season because of a broken hand. Expected to be a utilityman.

Chad Durbin, Phillies
Has chance to be fifth starter because of others' injuries, but spring ERA is 7.20.

Dallas Trahern, Marlins
Good prospect who might end up being in the rotation sometime during the season.

Gorkys Hernandez, Braves
Likely will start season at Class A Myrtle Beach. Still a couple years away from majors.

Cameron Maybin, Marlins
Could start the season in centerfield anywhere between Double-A Carolina and the majors.

Burke Badenhop, Marlins
Likely to start at Double-A Carolina, though he hasn't given up a run in two spring appearances.

Mike Maroth got picked up by the KC Royals. He's yet to appear in a ST game though.

I felt bad when he had to leave. Really got the business end of things!
