Kyle Sleeth. He was a 3rd overall pick in 2003. He's gone nowhere so far to the dismay of Tiger fans everywhere. He's had plenty of injuries though.

Sorry for the wider screen, but flickr lets you choose picture size, and the pic with our pitchers looked much better large! Rogers may be older but looks like he has a higher kick and spring to his ankles than the others!

By the way, the pics are coming from Roger DeWitt who lives in Lakeland. He is active at Motownsports.com or Tigstown.com.

Now you know why Tiger management is happy to have him. Those legs hide his pitch and allow him to hit the ball, which most pitchers can't do.

People also compare him to Fydrich in his happiness and fan draw. I am glad we got him!

On the bright side, check out his socks! They're high! If Verlander goes with the high socks he'll shave half a run off his ERA.

Studies have shown that those wearing stirrup socks have MUCH lower ERAs than those with low socks.

NOTE: No such study has been conducted but I'd bet my life on that being true - up until the 1980s everyone wore stirrup socks. Runs used to be at a premium - not now. Why? Not steroids! It's the lack of stirrup socks!

Verlander has low socks in the first post rant

Some of those guys have low socks with D's on them. That's pretty cool, too - I want some!
