Opinions needed on new features

For those that haven't noticed, next to each post that is not your own you will see a + and - you can click on. If you like the post, click +. If you don't, click -. You can also do nothing if you don't want to be bothered.

A poster's reputation score (which is displayed next to their post count) goes up by one for each + and down one for each -.

Also, if you start a thread and someone answers your question there is a thanks button next to the quote button. Clicking that will give the poster 3 reputation points.

These reputation points won't do anything special if you have a lot, but I thought I'd add this as a feature if people seem to like it.

I like it... It's sort of different.

Can you get negative points though? Or do you stop going down at 0?

But what does it mean when there is red? Does that mean people gave you negative??

Yeah. Hover your mouse over the bar. It'll tell you how many votes that post got. Green shows the positive votes, red shows negative votes.
