Precisely!!! The bats are alive again and the pitching has actually been decent! I must say....I'm impressed.

I still want to see the highlights of the game though and see Raburns Leap at the wall. From listening to Dan and Jim tonight, it sounded as though he caught it, but dropped it when he landed on the ground. Isn't there a rule (like in football) where the ground can't cause a fumble? Cuz to me, that's what it sounded like happened.

I thought he caught it!

But Leyland didn't argue that much; And it didn't cost us the game! Rayburn is like Spiderman out there!

He snares everything

I thought it was a fair catch also! He had it the whole time until he hit the ground hard.

That he does! I like J. Jones....I really do....but I'd rather have Raburn out in left field. He's quicker getting to the balls hit that way.

At the same time....and I can't believe I'm saying this...I think I'd like to see Thames fill in for Guillen for a little while till Carlos can get his hamstring taken care of. He's not doing anyone any good playing hurt!

That's what I thought.....that's why I wonder if baseball has a similar rule to the "the ground can't cause a fumble"....because, in essence....that's what happened! Instead, according to Dan and Jim, it went as a Triple for Young! No way is that a triple! If anything its a double and reaches 3rd on an Error.....but that's just my opinion.

Jones would not have made those catches!

I want to see Raburn Play!

But don't be surprised to see him traded by mid season, especially if the Tigers need to add a player for the pennant race.

I can see why they want Carlos playing, he had 2 hits for 4 at bats in the game. But he is not healing as quick having to play in the cold.

If they trade anyone....trade Jones....and in this case....Pick your Jones! lmao

I don't think we'll be trading many more young guns...the farm system is thinning our too quick as it is.

But if we need another starting pitcher or reliever; I bet the Tigers do it!

Without a doubt...Carlos is a phenomenal hitter...I just want him at 100% in the field. Too many times this past week he's been off the bag and allowed runners to reach 1st. It's been suggested that because of his Hamstring, he can't stretch as far as he would otherwise be able to and get those outs at 1st. Instead, it puts runners on and runs score.

If the Tigers want his bat in the line up....fine.....let him and Sheff alternate in the DH spot. But don't put him in the field if he's hurt and risk further injury where he winds up on the DL.

I agree with you! We need Carlos to get back to 100 percent!

Why risk making his injury worse?

And that is exactly what they are doing by playing him all the time. At least give hime the days off where the temp is BELOW 65 degrees.

don't you mean where the temp is BELOW 65? The cold weather is worse on a pulled muscle than warm weather.....

But yeah....I know what you're saying....I think we can all agree he is too valuable to let him make the injury any worse.

Cold Temps won't be a problem for a while; Temps near 70 in Cleveland; 60s at game time ;

Followed by 4 games in Toronto with the roof covered[ if it gets cold]

Yeah...It just sucks I couldn't get the days off from work to GO to the games. I mean....work is only 20 minutes from "Progressive Field"...and I'm going to be stuck listening to it on the radio.......rant
