| We're going to try something new in the GDT on Friday. It's called "live blogging." It's something like a combination of a thread and a chat. It'll be in one of the 1st couple of posts in the GDT and there'll be a host (one of the mods or admins, probably me). Here's some of it's capabilities...
- It acts just like a chat, but the host decides which comments go in there, so it won't get cluttered with unnecessary junk.
- When it's over, it'll get archived just like a thread so you can go back and read it if you missed it.
- It'll update faster than a thread, so for those that prefer chats to threads, this'll be to your liking.
- Other features include polls, youtube popups, and image popups.

| It is my understanding (although you'll need bobrob to confirm) that the blog is completely contained in the GDT and you don't have to do anything special to use it.

Yes, that is correct. Technically, you don't even have to me a member here to use it. So if a visitor comes by, they should still be able to use it.
It will be in the GDT in a post right after the lineups.

| There seems to be some confusion about this. I'll set up a demo at about 2:00. If you look at the GDT in the 3rd post, right after the lineups, there is a post that looks like a chatbox. That'll be the live blog. Just like a chatbox, there'll be a space to type in comments. You don't have to click to a new page, or refresh or anything like that. It's a lot easier than it sounds. The next post will be the demo.

| Ok, the demo blog is now closed. Notice that you can still replay it. This will be the same as all the GDT. Anymore questions, please ask.
After tonight's game, there shouldn't be a problem. Just go the 3rd post (after the llineups) and wait for it to open. It'll probably open about 30 minutes before gametime.
Of course, you can always just post in the GDT like usual. This isn't a substitute, but rather an alternative.
